Canadian Shipping FAQ
Are there any surcharges, duties, customs fees or taxes?Although Empire calculates and collects custom fees and taxes at the time of checkout, there may be additional costs for importation that the customer would be responsible for paying. Empire does not reimburse for any additional costs incurred due to importation.
Are the prices listed in USD or CAD?All the prices featured on our website are listed in US dollars (USD). Please visit www.empirecovers.ca for CAD denominations.
Can I ship to a different address?Yes, if you have a different address than your billing address, you can specify that in the checkout process.
How long will my order take to arrive at my Canadian address once it ships?We ship all orders as quickly as possible, but please note that there may be longer shipping times during sale events and peak shopping days. Items shipping from our warehouse in Canada normally arrive within 6-10 days of shipping. Items shipping from our Kentucky, USA warehouse normally arrive within 3 weeks of shipping.
Will I receive a tracking number for my order?Yes, once the order is shipped, we will send an email with the tracking information.
Is there a cost for shipping to Canada?We offer free shipping on select items that ship directly from our Canadian warehouse (look for items marked with the “Shipping From Canada” badge at www.empirecovers.ca). Free shipping applies to orders over 65 CAD and is limited to select items. Free shipping also applies to all car covers including those shipping from our US warehouse. For all other items we ship from Henderson, KY and offer flat rate shipping with no minimum purchase required. Costs are as follows.
- $95/120 CAD for RV and Pontoon Covers
- $50/65 CAD for Hail Jackets, Truck, SUV and Boat Covers
- $35/45 CAD for everything else!

Reliable Shipping
Our economy shipping will be sent through FedEx SmartPost and Canada Post for local delivery. Please note that orders shipping to Canada can take up to 3 or 4 weeks to arrive. Warranty
We offer 2 to 12 year warranties for all our covers. Each warranty will cover any natural wear and tear of the cover, including the full elastic hem, grommets, stitching and fabric.
